The University of Phoenix School of Business has partnered with The National Association of Women MBAs (NAWMBA) to host a panel and networking event focused on providing you valuable and actionable information. This “Women in Action” event, which is open to the entire community, includes a panel of inspirational local women executives.
There will be a 45-minute discussion on women in business, the emerging roles of women leaders, and how to advance your career in today’s workplace. After the panel discussion the moderator will lead you through a negotiation workshop that ends in an interactive action-plan drill.

Panelists Tina Ahladianakis, Director, Blue Cross Blue Shield, MA
Tina Ahladianakis has over 20 years of experience in the Health Insurance Industry and is currently a Director in Finance at Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts. Tina is an energetic change leader with a proven ability to lead multi-level, cross-functional teams in implementing key corporate strategic initiatives. She fosters creativity, innovation, and fun, while ensuring goals and objectives are met.
Tina obtained her Master of Business Administration, Executive Program from Northeastern University in 2008. She also holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management (Magna Cum Laude & High Distinction in Management) from Bentley University.
Tina enjoys spending time with her family and friends, working out, cooking, and traveling. She also volunteers her time by serving as Vice President of Programs of the Greater Boston Professional Chapter of NAWMBA (National Association of Women MBAs) and as an Assistant Director at a local not-for-profit organization.
Candace Collins, SR Marketing Manager, EMC
Candace Collins has worked in marketing in the high technology field for 25 years. She has wide-ranging capabilities in budget, organizational management, and marketing.
She ran the worldwide Corporate Leaders Forum program, which developed in-depth relationships with enterprise CIOs, while at Digital Equipment Corporation. She was Director of the North America Field Marketing organization at Informix where she oversaw the development of substantial pipeline growth. She was responsible for business development for the Northeast Region at Apple where her region was the number one territory during her tenure. She developed and managed the first North America Field Marketing organization at Kronos, and for the past four years, she has been responsible for Field Marketing for the Education Services division at EMC, which is now the most successful Education Services organization in EMC’s history.
She earned her MBA from UMASS Amherst in 2008.
Abigail Mojica, MBA-HCM, Director of Client Services, Boston Senior Home Care
Abigail has a strong background in management, business development and communications. She has over 13 years experience in managing large groups of people in both the non-profit and corporate sectors. Abigail's background includes in-patient social work Resource Specialist at Boston's Children's Hospital, interpreter services for Boston Senior Home Care, Admissions, Public Relations, Outreach and Marketing for the Boston Public schools, and Business Development and Management for Pepsico.
In her current role at Boston Senior Home Care she serves as the Direct of Client Services. She is responsible for the Direct Service Management team that assess: clients’ need for services, develop service plans, coordinate services, and monitor service quality “to ensure that culturally diverse elders and others, particularly those of limited means, can remain in their homes or in other supportive settings with dignity and independence”.
Abigail has an undergraduate degree in English with a minor in Communications from Alvernia University in Reading, PA and has a Masters in Business Administration from the University of Phoenix and a Graduate certificate in Health Care Management. She is currently pursuing her second Master’s in Public Administration. She is also bilingual in English and Spanish.

Dawn Marie Roller is a 7 year veteran of the Higher Education Industry. She exudes a passion for driving results for students and corporations through innovative solutions to challenges and business problems. A first-generation college student herself, she understands the unique challenges many students face, and is committed to making their dreams reality.
Dawn has consulted leaders within the Education, Healthcare, Criminal Justice, IT, Food Service, Insurance, and Logistics Industries to address Human Capital Management challenges specific to each of these sectors. As a result of these partnerships, these organizations have realized improvement in revenue, employee morale, employee retention, overall organization effectiveness and have developed a bench of leaders who will serve to continue leading these organizations to continued success.
Dawn earned her MBA from the University of Phoenix in 2009, and her Bachelors degree in Business Management from University of Phoenix. Dawn is currently a student in the Doctor of Management program through the University of Phoenix.
Dawn was active in transforming many corporate cultures including insurance rating, computer programming, media publishing and the retail sector global expansion. Dawn is active in a number of industry and community organizations. She is on the leadership boards of A.C.E. Association of Contemporary Professionals, Springfield Chamber, a Continental 2012 Who’s Who Recipient and a member of the American Society of Training and Development. Locally Dawn supports community action to help homeless shelters, battered women and local hospital Newborn Intensive Care Units in her grand-daughter Kinsley’s name. Nationally Dawn drives support for the American Heart Association, Disabled Veteran’s of America and St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
